Every week I throw out a few recommendations on things such as movies, books, knives, flashlights – all kinds of stuff. Some of these are not related to preparedness whatsoever – rather, just stuff I like. Most are available on Amazon but not all. I have a particular fondness for movies as one of my favorite things to do is to sit back and watch a good one.
Did you you see the previews to the new book of the dead, on the premiere of the walking dead last night ! Bro I’m all gitty about it, I’ve got the collectors edition, love that funny ass shit bro! Lol
I have seen all the “invasion” movies put out. I was sooo bummed with Donald Sutherland turned evil. As to The Walking Dead…I refuse to be held hostage by a cable company so I will have to wait for season 6 to come out on Neflix.
Thanks MI Patriot. I also off cable. I go over to a friends house to watch new episodes and sometimes buy individual episodes. There is a way to download episodes off the Internet. Illegal? Technically. I have thought of writing an article about it as it really helps those that have cut the cable.
Rourke…I did some looking and found some web sites that claim to be able to stream videos. They all seem legitmate, but I am afraid to install them for fear of viruses and other nasty things on my computer. I am not tech saavy enough to fix the computer if things go south because of viruses etc. One of them is watch32dotcom. It seemed to be the most straightforward site. Too bad there isn’t an internet version of the Better Business Bureau. (Thst’s what we have in Michigan. They rate businesses as to their trustworthiness based on customer complaints, etc).
Excellent suggestion on the “Stylus” flashlight. I got one for every adult in our family as birthday presents. Mine(yeah, I bought mine first) is part of my EDC and when in suits or wearing tie and jacket for work, it goes in left breast pocket. next to my ninja-Parker pens. They are bright enough to provide light enough for evac out of a building, or in illuminating an area for suspects.(did that one too) An excellent tool to always have on your person.
