Rourke’s Weekly Recommendations

Every week I throw out a few recommendations on things such as movies, books, knives, flashlights – all kinds of stuff. Some of these are not related to preparedness whatsoever – rather, just stuff I like. Most are available on Amazon but not all. I have a particular fondness for movies as one of my favorite things to do is to sit back and watch a good one.

So – for this week……here is my list:

Mora OD Green Outdoorsman Knife with Carbon Steel Blade – excellent value at around $16

Schrade Extreme Survival Knife

Lumsing 10400mAh Battery Bank/Power Charging – excellent performer. I own this and it works fantastic.

POWERGEN Dual USB Wall Charger – 2.1 amp – I have two of these and they work fantastic for charging devices quickly.

Jackie Extra Large Head Matches Windproof / Waterproof

Angel Soft 48 Double Roll Toilet Paper – Free Shipping and cheaper than your grocery store

CardSharp 2 Folding Wallet Knife – under $3.00 with Free Shipping

Emergency Poncho – Pack of 4 – Clear

Emergency Mylar Tube Tent – 2 Person – under $8

Emergency Whistle

  1. I really like the Mora, for me its a good back up bush craft knife, Each of my daughters have one of these in there kit. There meet my (SWC) specs. You get allot for the price good (weight, endurance, size, holding its edge, internationally recognized name)

  2. I had that exact Schrader knife and loved it except for the received blade. I bough the Ka-bar BK9 since my lil bro took over the Schrade. He loves the blade and has even re-profiled the cutting edge.

  3. Slingshot that I purchased for my husband is really exc. We all like target practicing with it even the grand kids !! Good skill to teach and learn. It is silent also, Arlene
