Pretty interesting. I will let you draw conclusions….

Put up a new 14 foot above ground pool this past weekend. They make these things so they go up pretty quick. Unless we get some holes planning on leaving it up for a couple years. 3000 gallons of water  – only paid $99.

Will be so nice to jump in during the hot South Carolina summer.

Speaking of the heat – the sun can wreak havoc on our skin this time of year. Don’t forget the sunscreen (in your go bag as well). Severe sunburns suck.

  1. I think the pool idea is superb. I wonder if just buying one, leaving it in the box for easy storage, and then relocation with it would be easier. Kind of like a big water Bob. Just set it up on the location and let the rain do the rest or even fill it up from a well. However, I guess that would defeat the purpose of having fun. 🙁 Thoughts anyone?

  2. Capt.Michaels-good idea to have one to go if one has a retreat bug out place somewhere-but power may be out then.I would say enjoy the one you have and buy one on sale at the end of the season for the spare.Arlene
PSCapt M thanks for the inf.

  3. Agreed, Sunscreen in every bag! Just remember the scent. Most have a very noticeable scent…not good if you’re bugging out. I prefer a brand called Badger. Its certified organic too, a lot less irritating to the skin.
