From the Desk of John Rourke – January 7th, 2015

Watching a documentary on North Korea. I have to be honest I should educate myself more on other countries and issues that effect world events. Pretty pathetic life many of the citizens of North Korea live.

Well – Boehner won his third term as Speaker of the House. Pathetic. Even more so is those that voted against him were punished by Boehner for doing so. Maybe I would do the same? I would hope I would hear the messages being sent and react accordingly. If the Republicans do not do the work they were elected to do there is little chance of a Republican President in 2016.

The rain here in the South has finally stopped….and now the frigid cold comes rolling in. I wish it would snow…..footage!

  1. Rourke and everyone-stay warm !!!! We have learned to open the doors under any sinks that are facing an outside wall-prevents freezing of pipes. Also turn up your heat a few hours before the polar vortex hits .I wish we could send you some nice fluffy snow
w/o the brutal temps. We are preparing for minus 20 literal temps tonight.I hope my honeybees survive this cold.(nothing I can do )

  2. A little off subject, but I found .22lr at Rural King: 500 rounds for $24.99, and 6 box limit. That’s a much better price and limit than what we’ve been used to where I live. Maybe production is catching up some.
