From the Desk of John Rourke – December 4th, 2015

I recently started watching the original Star Trek television series. Although the special effects are certainly dated I am really enjoying it. Watched the show as a kid and it fed my imagination as I traveled the universe “to explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and new civilizations. To boldly go where no man has gone before.”

This video shows the ridiculous fashion which our government is looking at the threat from radical Islamists. It is extremely frustrating to know that our government will not even use the term “radical Islam.” Folks – just imagine if Hillary gets elected. Zero Hour will most certainly set its sights on us and put the pedal to the metal.

  1. Live long and prosper Rourke… I own the whole series. An interesting aside. During high school, my good friend was having trouble with geometry. Just didn’t get it. At his home one day I mentioned that I would help him, his mom was listening and wished to compensate me financially. They had a color TV set. My condition was simple, in exchange for tutoring, I would come over on Thursday night and watch Star Trek in color ( we had Black n White tv at home of course). Was GREAT, and my good friend ended up with a ‘B’ grade! And it was the first season. Doesn’t get much better than that.

  2. STOS (original series) was great.

Why are we not seeing photos of Malik? Came in on a passport. Hell, open the bag if need be. Give her a mouthful of bacon as an appetizer. She can use it as her next passport.

Getting tired of this PC bullshit.

  3. nothing better than the original Star Trek. . . . I hope people are starting to see through the political bs the oblammo/hildebeast douchebags are spouting. . . . seems like more of the LE types are telling citizens to arm themselves. . . . . let the unarmed libs take the hit. . .

  4. I am one of only a handful of people who have actually battled ‘real’ Klingons alongside the REAL Captain Kirk!! William Shatner does an amazing amount of charity work that not a lot of people know about – many years ago he held a Star Trek themed charity paintball event in Chicago and I attended and got to ‘fight’ alongside the Captain. It was amazing and he is quite the character. I volunteered to work with him on his Hollywood Charity Horseshow and for many years got to help out this worthy organization. He not only starred in the show – but imbued many of it’s better philosophies in his real life. Something we can all work at . . .

“Those Americans who believed that we could live under the illusion of isolationism wanted the American eagle to imitate the tactics of the ostrich. Now, many of those same people, afraid that we may be sticking our necks out, want our national bird to be turned into a turtle. But we prefer to retain the eagle as it is–flying high and striking hard.”

…”We are daily increasing our strength. Soon, we and not our enemies will have the offensive; we, not they, will win the final battles; and we, not they, will make the final peace.”

“This generation of Americans has come to realize, with a present and personal realization, that there is something larger and more important than the life of any individual or of any individual group- something for which a man will sacrifice, and gladly sacrifice, not only his pleasures, not only his goods, not only his associations with those he loves, but his life itself. In time of crisis when the future is in the balance, we come to understand, with full recognition and devotion, what this Nation is, and what we owe to it.”

Yes, he was democrat. It’s known for a fact he had an affair and all other kinds of issues. Though not perfect, he is NOTHING like today’s liberal democrats. When Pearl Harbor happened he stood in the gap in way bummer and he sheeple can never do.

  6. Said it earlier today in a Facebook group…

If you are scared to tell the truth for fear of being called racist, you’re a coward. Period.

With that said, Muslim is not a race, but a thought process and in many cases a political movement. Can it be called a Faith? Sure. A Religion of Peace? Please…. How ridiculous is that statement?!
Being Politically Correct is a weak person’s way to skirt the truth of a subject and to hide behind a veil of shame that they have created for themselves.
