Equipment Review – Venturer Travel Portfolio Bag

The folks at PX Supply offered to send me a Venturer Travel Portfolio Bag to check out. I accepted and have actually had it for the past few weeks.

This bag is meant to be carried while traveling. Basically a one-stop shop to keep identification, credit cards, money, travelers checks, etc. all in one place. My initial impressions taking a look at the bag was that it was lightweight and had lots of compartments which to store things.

I was very curious whether or not a Kindle would fit in the largest compartment – which it did with no problem. Many people that travel utilize ebook readers such as the Kindle. This was a big positive to me.

There are lots of pockets and spaces for a variety of things such as maps, pens, pencils, programs, pictures, a cell phone, a small pocket knife and more. The bag has a quick release front snap enclosure as well as an adjustable shoulder strap.

The overall construction is adequate  for the application. This is not a combat bag with quadruple stitching and double reinforcements at every seam. Plenty rugged enough to handle every day carry (EDC).

At $14.97 with FREE SHIPPING – it is a good value.
