    Don’t forget to mention if you update this post that antibiotics do not work on viruses. They only work on bacteria!

    So, if an individual becomes ill with a fever and has had no puncture, cut or injury, give the illness your recommendation for the number of days (I personally use 2-4 days depending if it is a sore throat or flu-like symptoms. However influenza is a virus and all viruses take 14 days for the boy to clear the infection) to see if the illness gets better before taking antibiotics.
