Video of the Week: “Buck Hoodlum: Legacy of Ron Hood” by Nutnfancy
Great video review of the Buck Hoodlum knife.
It is 38 minutes long – but worth it.
I love mine.

Yes, this is a great review of a great knife. Like you, I also love my Hoodlum. Ron knocked it out of the park with this knife. He put a lot of time into perfecting that blade, and it shows.

I agree with all of Nutns points, it’s just very pricy, but well worth it. I want one myself. My current Bush blade is the RAT knife which is great for me. It’s true bigger is better, specially for a bush knife has to almost everything knife. My back up is a K-bar, Bench made and finally spiderco

Rourke,
I’m a knife guy, and this appears to be a great knife! At least for now, though, it’s a bit out of my price range, as I’m saving for a couple of other expensive must-have items. Anyway, the obvious awesome blade aside, I really like it’s finger choil. It should make for easy choking-up when the finer details that are normally only possible with a smaller blade are required. The groove that’s cut in the spine of the blade makes for some interesting usage possibilities, too.
Nice review by NUTNFANCY. I am soooooo jealous!
