US Financing Brazilian Off-Shore Drilling?

I do not discuss politics here very often – although I do have very strong opinions.

I received an email today from a co-worker regarding somewhat old news – however still valid. Many people are unaware that the US Government (President Obama) provided funds to a Brazilian oil company for off-shore oil exploration.

That’s right. YOUR MONEY is going to a Brazilian oil company to drill for oil off the coast of Brazil. Hmmmmm…….That’s not all – my understanding the the oil derived from this project is meant to go to China….not the US.

How much of your money? $2 Billion dollars. Unbelievable.
