Things put away this week…….
Every week or so I try to stock away a few items.
So – here is some recent additions:
- Band Aid’s - 2 boxes
- Antibiotic cream, 2 tubes
- Pickles – 13 jars
- Snack Bars – 2 boxes
- Spaghetti Sauce – 5 cans
- Spaghetti - 8 boxes
- Peaches - 6 cans
- Pears – 6 cans
- Capri Sun Pouch Drinks, boxes of 10 – 12 qty (bought theem for .07 cents each – WOW!!!)
- Water, cases of 24 – 2
That’s about it. Not a whole lot – but better off than if it was nothing.
I cannot emphasize enough that even if you can afford to do a little - do it! As little as $10.00 per week can build your emergency supplies over time.
Future additions are planned with an emphasis on food stores and inflationary items (need to do a post on that soon).
Take care all -
Rourke

Great article! I have a couple of friends that are to be included on the grounds that they will put their life on the line for our cause but they are not smart enough to prepare properly. I have put them on the “bean bag of the week” club. The have to buy at least one bag of beans or related items each week. I tell them that I might love them but I will not feed them and watch my granchildren suffer. Luckily they have taken the hint and their foodstuffs pile is growing. I have seen these problems coming for many years and have had the foresight and the money to begin my gradual preparations many years ago. When TSHTF every person that tries to come to us for salvation will have to answer the $64 question…What can you do for us? The wrong answer will find you alone and hungry. The future belongs to the prepared!
