Thanks for the support and a site update…….

Hello all –

I just wanted to tell everyone “Thank You” for your support. Over the past several months traffic to ModernSurvivalOnline has increased steadily. I continue to post daily and try to provide quality content. There are many preparedness blogs out there on the Information Superhighway – I appreciate everyone stopping by here and hanging out.

Beyond visiting this site – readers have supported MSOnline in other ways. The first is supporting sponsors. When searching for preparedness supplies – please check out my sponsors and do business with them whenever possible.

Another way we get support here is through affiliate purchases by the readers. MSOnline has two main affiliates – Amazon.com and SurvivalGearBags.com . When readers click on links from this site and enter an affiliate and purchase something – MSOnline receives a small commission. The prizes available in the current Guest Post Contest here were collected from affiliate purchases over the last several months.

All affiliate purchases made by readers support MSOnline with no additional cost to the buyer. With that in mind – don’t forget us when shopping over at Amazon.com this Christmas.

Thank you R.E. and S.M. for your generous recent donations – I really appreciate it. It will certainly assist in purchasing a few preparedness items to review and cover some hosting fee’s for the site.

Site Update:

how to bug in

I  am a big planner and with 2012 just around the corner I am thinking of where to take MSOnline over the next year. Honestly – I do not plan any major changes. I will be doing more equipment reviews as well as more “how to” skill articles. Beyond that – no big surprises.

I also hope to provide more Guest Posts from readers on a regular basis if you all are willing to share your knowledge, thoughts and experience.

Next – I am looking for a couple of “assistants” that can help provide worthy news sources a couple times a week. What I would like to do is have an “In the News…..” post up on Monday’s and Thursday’s. News links would be related to economic and political issues, world troubles, weather, and anything else that might be of interest to visitors. I think these newsworthy links would be very beneficial – I just do not have the time. If interested send me an email at emergencycd(at)gmail.com .

That is about it. Thanks again for stopping by.

Take care – Rourke

  1. Hi,

I just came across your site via beforeitsnews. I’m looking forward to reading up on your articles on gardening. I live in an apartment in the city and have always wondered how I could be better prepared by having the skills to grow my own food.

  2. Rourke,

As far as “preparedness blogs out there on the information superhighway”, I feel I get the very best information and advice from ModerSurvivalOnline…without a doubt.

I’m a relative newby when compared to others like yourself. I enjoy reading each and every one of your posts, many of which I share with like-minded friends. In fact, when we’re watching a good hockey game and tossing back a few beverages, we often talk about your posts and the preparedness mindset in general.

    Keep up the fantastic work!

    Keep The Faith!
