Red Dawn re-make to be released November 2nd, 2012

I loved the original Red Dawn movie. I swear I must have seen it at least 40 times and still watch it every few months or so. When I first heard a remake was in the works I was very excited. Shortly thereafter the project was shelved due to financial problems as well as pressure from China (the villains in the movie).

The movie was reworked and now North Korea are the bad guys – and the project is set to be released in November of this year. I can’t wait.

Hope it’s good.

  1. Rourke, I am a huge fan of Red Dawn. I have watched it at least 30 times. It will be interesting to see how well they do compared to the original. I am sure there will be a lot of CG stuff in the movie but I hope they stay true to the story line. It just won’t be the same with out Patrick Swazy though.

  2. I look forward to seeing it if the world as we know it is still in tact in November . The original Red dawn is one of my favorite movies .

  3. The Chinese would make the movie more believable. Actually, instead of the Cubans and Russians like the original, the Chinese and Russians would definitely make it more realistic!

  4. Give me a break! North Korea?? The mouse that squeaked. How would they bomb us? Federal Express?? I’ve made bottle rockets work better than their missiles. Lame.

It’s gonna be alright- really. Just entertainment.

From my understand North Korea prefers to deliver there bombs via UPS rather than Federal Express.

They can also make some mighty fine dirty looks!

They should have left it as China.

      Take care Sgt –
