New Blog Found – FrugalDad.com
I somehow stumbled across the blog FrugalDad.comand glad that I did. A financial-based website – FrugalDad offers sound advice related to personal finance – which certainly can be related to survival & preparedness – as well as life itself. Much of the information is directly related to getting out of debt and staying that way. Honestly – I wish I had found this site long ago.
Here is a statement from the owner about his philosophy:
“I hate debt. I don’t like risk. I tolerate credit card companies. I don’t like these financial “gurus” out there giving advice for the sole purpose of selling lousy investments. You know, it could be said that my advice is simply common sense. However, in a country where common sense left the financial world long ago, I felt a calling to remind people of some very basic principles. Spend less than you make; save money for a rainy day; live debt free. I know, I know, earth-shattering ideas here, huh?”
Money is often the root of so much negativity ion our lives – mine included. Between aurgeuments with spouses, aurguements with the kids, to stressing about bills and expenses – money can easily complicate and even ruin lives. I should probably point out that it is not money itself – but decisions regarding money that inflicts these issues.
Anyways – FrugalDad.com is awesome and I recommend it.
There is even a catagory called “Survivalist“.
