I am very pleased to announce that Survival Gear Bags is now an official sponsor of ModernSurvivalOnline.

I am very picky about who I would allow to advertise and have a presence on my site. With that said – Survival Gear Bags is a very reputable company and has developed a solid reputation for providing excellent customer service and products with high value.

Survival Gear Bags carries a large variety of survival & preparedness supplies with an emphasis on….you guessed it….gear bags!! From shoulder bags, backpacks, to M.O.L.L.E. gear and tactical vests – they have everything you need to pack whatever you need to transport (at some great prices).

survival, preparedness, backpack, kit, bug out bag,

Survival Gear Bags also carries numerous other preparedness supplies such as knives, first aid kits, fire starters, food rations, radio’s, and more.

That radio pictured is the Kaito Voyager KA500GRN. It’s a nice little radio, I have two of them. Your sponsor’s price matches Amazon’s price and beats the price I paid for them. If you order enough to qualify for free shipping, their price beats Amazon by 20%!

I bought 4 of the bags pictured from them and they are pretty good. They were as large as I would have liked but you can still cram alot of useful items in them. Best price I could find on the net and they also included some unexpected goodies for them so I created a small animated gif for them. http://www.frozenrockradio.com/images/blog_banner.gif

    parashooter –

I appreciate your comments however SurvivalGearBags do not manufacture the numerous items they carry. They are out there searching for value-driven products to provide to their customers. They were founded with survival & preparedness in mind – and survivalist on a budget.

You can buy a $2000 1911 .45ACP. You can also buy a $750 Kimber 1911 – both will get the job done. It is a matter of choice.

I have Maxpedition products – as well as a Medium Transport Bag from SurvivalGearBags – and I love them both. I would in no way, shape or form say that the Medium Transport Bag is a low-quality item.

    Thanks – Rourke

Thanks for the info guys. I guess I should have actually looked at the site before I made a comment. I just found this site, and I can’t stop reading. Awesome!!

Rourke, I see the comment on the Kaito radio. I just purchased one and so far it seems worth the money. This is my first and I’m still looking for and reading other comments on it. I’ve only played with it a bit so far. I haven’t even run down the batteries yet! So far I’m getting good reception on everything but the Short wave. Since my main concern was the weather and emergency bands then so far I am satisfied. I’d be happy to read others impressions on the stability and durability of this radio.
