M.D. Creekmore’s Survival Blog – a review

I have frequented M.D. Creekmore’s Survival Blog for over a year now. I enjoy it and get daily post updates in my Inbox.

To start this review I will cover what I like most about M.D.’s blog -

When I read The Survivalist Blog I feel like it is written to me. M.D. Creekmore does not write like he is some kind of superior survival expert and know-it-all. He just relays information to his fellow man (and women). His content is relevant and thorough. I believe that he practices what he preaches.

A few posts that he has written in recent weeks that I have enjoyed – and you might to – are as follows:

• The Get Back Home Kit – Great post discussing what a Get Home Bag is and why he has one. Provides full inventory of his own as an example.
• Why Aren’t You Using Coupons to Save Money When Stockpiling for Survival – This post explains the benefits of coupons and how they can be used to save money on items you may be stockpiling. He even goes into why some people avoid coupons, how to organize them and where to source them.
• Winning Tactics to Avoid Getting Ripped Off At The Gun Shop- This was a welcome post to assist those looking ot purchase a gun in a gun shop. Some very valid advice on performing some research before you go to buy and knowing what you are looking for before you walk through the door.

 M.D. Creekmore also provides a free links to some great resources such as category specific YouTube video’s, free downloads, as well as a great organized list of his “Top Posts“.

OK – I have covered much of what I like. Now – what can I be critical of? Not much to be honest with you. Would probably like to see more pictures. Being a gun fanatic – I personally would like to see more posts on guns. Probably the biggest thing is my tremendous jealousy of him having o much web traffic!!
