I recently discovered a new blog called The Homestead Report. This blog discusses a variety of topics – from politics, observations of our government, preparedness, and the authors experience living out in the country.

The author and his family have done something that I wish I could do. They up and quit their jobs and decided to make a total lifestyle change and moved out in the boonies.

So far there are just a few posts – but I like what I see. Intelligent writing and I just find the the blog written from a unique perspective.

    I have been following the homestead report for a little bit now and they have a lot of really cool stuff going on over there. He has done what I am sure both you and I would love to do. Great suggestion Rourke.

    I, too, have been following The Homestead Report. Great site.

    One of the wonderful aspects of the survival and prepping community is that we all support each other and share our unique perspective not only with the world but among ourselves. I learn so much from the other blog sites that is humbling.

    BTW, can’t wait to learn of your big surprise/secret on Monday!
