Interested in blogging? I recommend Hostgator………
Blogs are almost like a**holes – seems like most everyone has one. Some people think that is a bad thing – but for the most part I think it is good. The bad is there are so many blogs out there that people start – preparedness and others – that are abandoned after a few weeks. This clutters the Internet as people try to search for content of their liking.
The good is that the Internet is cluttered with A LOT of great content that people want to read. Free speech is another reason. Have an opinion on something specific or on everything? You can use a blog as outlet to express it. Another good is being able to interact with people from all around the world. How else can you exchange idea’s on prepping with people from Texas, Utah and North Carolina all without leaving your couch? Cool.
As you can tell from the title of this post I like Hostgator as a service for hosting a blog. Prior to finding Hostgator I tried several hosting companies and was disappointed. Some of it might have been me. Google offers a free blogging module called Google Blogger – which was pretty good and easy. I had a blog for about a year using Blogger just prior to switching to Hostgator.
Anyways – have you ever thought of having a blog?
It can be fun. ModernSurvivalOnline has turned into a much bigger “hobby” than I ever anticipated. Believe me – I look at this as a good thing. Due to this experience I have been led into looking at some other projects as well (coming soon!).
If you have any questions about blogging or setting up your own site – feel free to ask. I will answer here or might schedule another post with more info.
Take care all -
Rourke

Thanks for sharing your hobby – I tend to visit your site before GhostPrepper, SHTF Plan, and especially SurvivalBlog (Rawles has become way too commercial for my tastes).
Keep up the good work.

Brother, I feel your pain! lol just kidding. Starting my blog a year and a half ago was one of the best things I have ever done. I have met some of the best people ever and look forward to meeting many more.
