Important video to watch……..

Hello everyone -

Loyal reader “JR” sent me a link to the video below. This is a video by Michael Ruppert who was the center-point of the documentary/movie “Collapse” – which I like very much.

I want to get this post up so I am going to limit my commentary on it. What I will say is there are many people that follow Mr. Ruppert and many that totally discount what he has to say. From my paying attention to what many people have to say, research that I have done myself, as well as my gut feeling….I believe that he is fairly close to being “on the money“.

Listen to what he has to say and feel free to comment on it. I would really like to know what everyone thinks.

As I listened to him, most of the points that he makes are thoughts and info I had already run across.

We do need to prepare, and now is as good a time as any. It may be that the time you have left to get ready is only on the order of a few months.

A scenario that may happen: Tunisia fell, Egypt is about to collapse, and there are rumors of riots in Jordan too. IF they do go by the wayside, we need to pay attention to whoever comes to power – and whether they are hardcore Islamists, or moderate. If they are the hardcore, anti-America bunch, we can be pretty sure that other nations in the Middle East will soon follow: Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and others. Then we will see oil costs go through the roof, if it is still being delivered.

It all hinges on who gains control, and their view on the relationships with their ‘neighbors’, and the western world.

Of course, I could be wrong. But, it is all just speculation to start with.

thanks for posting this. Mike has been fighting the good fight for years now and I think he’s pretty much on target with this video.
The Israelis don’t want Mubarak gone, so, it would be a pretty safe bet to think that they are already working inside Egypt to either stop the protests or, turn them into something that the Army would be compelled to crack down on, hard.
the only reason Mubarak is there is because it benefits the US and Israel and as long as he does, they will work to keep him there. It’s all about the oil and Israel.

Something is happening and has been in the process for a couple of years and some would argue for 20 years or more. But what? His prediction is no more likely to be right then anyones. It is a mistake to make too much of this “war against the police”. There was at the same time massive roundups of criminals and many of these criminals are armed drug pushers who would rather fight then go to jail for life. It is an anomaly not a trend. I don’t blame the police for being concerned but lets not condem the entire U.S. population for what a handful of criminals do. Part of that is our fault (our: meaning our government). We have gangs and drug pushers and every policeman knows who they are buit we have been kindof ignoring them. Maybe because it’s too hard to prosectute until you catch them with a smoking gun or maybe it’s safer to ticket speeders, who knows what the reason is. But if you live in a big city there are hundreds of gang members shooting, stealing, raping, selling drugs every day and the police KNOW who does this and they do little to bring them to justice. So now you have tens of thousands of armed gang members in the U.S. and what do we expect?
I don’t know the future. I am preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. But this guy doesn’t know the future either. He could be right! I could win the lottery! Who knows.
