I wonder what happens to peoples personel debt in hyperinflation scenario? I.E. mortgage, credit card, n auto loan. I remember seeing video somewhere where countries were printing like 100-100- million dollar bills for people since their currency was so weak. Lets say you had a 100,000 dollar mortgage on the books but went to work if u still had a job n made couple hundered thousand for 8 hr day Im thinkin your debt would be paid off by luchtime. Im sure this really wouldnt happen n the banks have some way of protecting themselves by screwing you of course. But you are very right inflation is going up weekly NOW it seems. My family’s food bill for the month 8 yrs ago when I married was around 150. (the first time in my life I really kept track of anything financially) Last month we spent over 600 between about 5 trips to the store. We have a family of 3! Granted I eat quite a bit since I figure I need a fat storage around my middle for the depression ahead, but not sure how you support any bigger of a family. Seriously something needs to be done.
