Guns, friends……and cooking out

A couple of weekend’s ago my family went over to some friends for some good conversations, good food, and shooting for all.

My host has a 100-yard shooting range – and I took full advantage. Shooting my AR, M1 Carbine, Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm, and M&P15-22 was great. Some others that attended also brought along some other firearms such as a customized Ruger 10/22, S&W 22A pistol, an old Remington .22LR rifle, and a high-power .30-06.

With targets set up at 50 and 100 yards – was able to do some sighting in. Getting together in these stressful times – laughing it up, sharing stories, playing some Cornhole – and blasting some targets – couldn’t get much better. Somehow the hotdogs that were cooked on the grill tasted just a little bit better with the smell of gunpowder in the air. Well……at least to me.
