Why would I like this manual?
Because I’m just getting started and you can’t learn too much about surviving.

Much can be said about the Army Survival Manual FM 21-76. It can effectively take a tenderfoot prepper or survivalist and turn them into a top notch, equipped to handle anything individual. It’s has been and always will be a great reference material to keep around for when the balloon goes up. I presently have an electronic copy but I would certainly value a hard copy to compliment my survival book shelf.

As a former Army Veteran, I can say that how these types of manuals (I’ve read plenty) are put together are superior than most “average” manuals as the research behind them, information content and the placement of information is ideal for learning at near any level. The reason I’m leaving a comment as to why I would like the book is that I am a medium level prepper or survivalist, love these type of manuals and am an avid reader of survival, how-to manuals, novels, blogs, etc. So having this manual added to my library of like minded “books” would be icing on the cake

As a disabled Vet, it is always good to be able to share knowledge with others. Having a hardcopy of FM21-76 will provide the “proof in the pudding” when discussing survival with others. It will also be a handy guide to “walk down memory lane”.

I was given the army survival, evasion, and escape manual when I was in high school. Looking for it recently I found that I have lost it somehow. This would be a great replacement. Really enjoy the blog.

I am fairly new to prepping and am constantly gathering information on prepping and surviving. Anything that the US Military puts out is great knowledge to have.
