Download Highlight: Effects of Nuclear War
The Effects of Nuclear War is a book written back in 1979 as a report to Congress. The book, as you can tell by the title, has a lot of information related to nuclear weapons effects. If you are interested in learning about radiation and fallout – you can find it in the report. The book documents 3 possible scenario’s of nuclear war – interesting.
What I find so special and valuable about the book – is the fictional account of what happens following a nuclear war in Appendix C- Charlottesville. The story takes place in Charlottesville, Virginia (population 40,000) and is a great read. The story describes the difficulty just this one city experiences as a result of a nuclear war……really gets you thinking.
The book can be downloaded here from the Survival Database Download section off his website.
It can also be purchased here if you want a hard-copy.
