CDC Warns Public to Prepare for ‘Zombie Apocalypse’

Yes…….you read that title right.
The CDC recently posted an article titled “Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse”.
OK – so no, there really isn’t a risk of zombie attack. The CDC is suing the popularity of zombies to push emergency preparedness. Kinda neat I think.

My thoughts: whatever it takes to get the general public thinking along the lines of survival is a good thing. Let’s face it, anything concerning vampires, zombies, Snooki (just kidding…sort of. I just like to pick on her.) or sex, gets the average person’s attention.

I think it is a great way to get peoples attention and to get them on the road to preparedness. It is a great article and if the media attention gets even one more person to become prepared for disaster then it worked Excellent post Rourke.
